Kit List for Guide Camp
Guides should pack their own gear, with parental assistance. Girls must carry all their gear from the
parking lot to the lodge. Most things
should be labelled. Do not pack with
boxes, containers, suitcases, garbage bags, etc!

PACKING OPTIONS:
DAYPACK: Every Guide must have a Daypack (school
backpack usually works). In the
Daypack please put the items in brown.
1.
CAMPING BACKPACK: GUIDE will need a Backpack
big enough to hold all gear,
either inside or strapped to the outside.
Toiletry Kit and extra shoes can be tied to the Backpack if they do
not fit inside. This is the
Lightweight Camping Option, which is the best. Guide will walk with Camp Backpack on her
back and carrying her Daypack.
OR
2.
BEDROLL:
Guide
will make a Bedroll with her Tarp, Sleeping Bag, Blanket, Pillow, pj’s. Other items will be in a small
DUFFLEBAG. Guide will walk with

Bedroll in the other. If she does not
have a dufflebag, a second backpack will work.
